I'm Will.
Thanks for visiting.
I aim to mitigate climate change by supporting clean energy and energy efficiency through technology and innovation.
I believe empowered, autonomous, customer-adjacent product teams lead to the best enterprise-grade software applications and outcomes.
Transparency and clear, candid communication unlocks the multiplying power of collective action.
I am Director of Product at Power Factors where I oversee the company’s performance management software products, optimizing 200+GW of clean energy globally. In this role, I connect data, analytics, and operations to help asset owners, managers, and operators generate more clean energy and increase ROI in solar, wind, hydro, and storage.
Previously, I led Power Factors’ Sales Engineering team, matching industry needs with software offerings, informing product strategy with market intelligence, leading technical pre-sales engagements, and increasing assets managed from 10 to 30GW over three years. I began my career as Power Factors’ first hire, contributing to early product efforts and running fleet-scale onboarding projects for initial clients. During university I held internships with RMI, Alta Energy, Chile's Center for Renewable Energy, Regenerative Network, the Department of Energy's Argonne National Laboratory, and the Environmental Protection Agency.
I received a BS in Civil Engineering (Atmosphere/Energy Program) and an MS in Management Science & Engineering (Energy and Environment Concentration) from Stanford University, focusing on energy from a technical and business perspective. I grew up outside Washington, DC, where I attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. I live in San Francisco.
